First post, first new memory, and I am in the "Eye Candy Blogfest" from Vicki over at "Rambles and Randomness". This an easy one find a photo that makes you smile every time you you should see, as I thought to myself I have two. One is my cat Caesar who passed away last year at almost his 18th birthday, the picture best photo of him I love the most... Second is a great friend Mandi and I who I have known forever and miss her and her family a great deal, they moved. It was taken at work by the photographer Shane, and the height of the job where everything was great... Not sure why they make me smile, but they do!
I'm so sorry about Caesar. I hate losing a pet; it's like losing a family member. Still, that pic is great!
ReplyDeletehappy new year! i'm enjoying everyone's stories behind the pictures. thanks for sharing. i'm sorry to hear you lost your cat, but i'm glad you have great pics to remember him by! christy
ReplyDeleteLove your kitty. It looks like he's laughing hysterically. What a great way to remember him.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in the blogfest today! Hope you are enjoying the pics as much as I am!
I love them both! Of course, I'm partial to the kittehs.
ReplyDeleteI hope your 2011 is the best year yet! :)
Glad they make you smile rather than grow sad...
ReplyDeleteThese pictures made me laugh. Have a really great New Year!
ReplyDeleteLove the thumbs-up pic...it makes me smile too!

I give a big thumbs-up to Carrie!
ReplyDeleteYou have posted quite a range of eye candy.
Happy New Year.
I love the thumbs photo. It says a lot about friendship. Happy 2011 to you!
ReplyDeletePersonal photos that are attached to memories are the best choices for making me smile too! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting photos....
ReplyDeleteThat's what's so great about blogfests, we all have individual tastes.
Our beloved pets and friends always make us smile.
Happy New Year, Jeremy.

Rest in peace Caesar. Lovely pictures, Jeremy.

ReplyDeleteIn memory of Caesar - why not! ;)
Happy New Year
best

teehee--Love that cat, and great 'wedding' pic (at least I am guessing that's the punchline--the wedding rings there in front)
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sorry to hear about your cat. Caesar looked like he was mid-yawn!
ReplyDeleteFun pictures for a fun blogfest. Happy new year!
Hi Jeremy! The pictures are from a unique perspective-- not the average kind of smiley face thing. Quite nice! They evoke a different kind of emotion so I can see why they hold a special place in your heart! Thanks for stopping by today! Best wishes for the New Year!
ReplyDelete@words crafter - i know he hated everyone being a Siamese, but me though had so much personality.
ReplyDelete@erica and christy - you too, yes it is great to remember and sad to forget.
@vicki - thank you for having such a great reminder of things.
@susan q - i love my animals as they are the replacement for the kids i will never have.
@alex - reminds me of a better time, i loved my cat and he was always the first to greet me home and the last to say goodnight. and the other photo of me and my friend, she loves life.
@mary - me too, the longest stories i could ever tell, wrapped up in two. happiest of new year to you too.
@mara - it was the day the photographer shane was testing his macro lens... it was great.
@elaine - thank you, carrie creeps me out... something fierce.
@tricia - i do not have as many friends i started with, mostly web friends now. i am glad these things were in my life.
@jemi - okay first off i love your name is it short for something, probably. second memories is all we have, i am glad i could share.
@gideon - true, seems everyone has photos that represent a place, a good memory or more pretty stuff. for me these two photos popped right into my head, and with as much wacky stuff in there. these were very clear, now of course this also mean i focus on bad stuff and need therapy?
@ellie - thank you... you still are the best.
@francine - thank you!
@hart - not a wedding photo, just me and my beautiful hippy friend at work.
@julie - a million and a half photos i took of him to get the mid-yawn shot, this was the only one that ever came out. he does look like he is laughing?
@danette - thank you, they were not typical which is funny, i am different sort of normal... which makes this whole sharing of photos interesting. we all have big hearts to share anything of ourselves, that is what makes this world great!
That cat looks like how I feel on Monday mornings. Fun post...
ReplyDeleteEdge of Your Seat Romance
