SOUNDTRACKS/SCORES, FILMS, BOOKS AND MORE!

So This Is One Of My Photos!!

In a True Blue
I am in no way shape or form consider myself a photographer, this is one those shots that for me came out very cool. Dabble in a little color shift and a dreamy effect.... then of course having a great subject matter. More to come, I took a few photos and am preparing for the next group of my T-shirts to arrive at my door. I am sure I have mentioned having a store on line here, but did I mention... new stuff. Well it is coming soon, just waiting for the right moment.

I wanted to thank the newest followers and to my good friends who have made a mention about me and my little zombie site. You are all the best.

How many times have you watched "The Avengers" kind of like... how many "Wonka Bars" have you eaten or purchased... I think I am up to seven times. Bonus treat for me is that I won a Scarlett Johansson autographed card good friend Roland @ Writing In The Crosshairs... jealous? And... And... my great new friend Virginia Wright @ Her Blog... won some candy, book and some other great stuff. Now I know you are jealous... I feel awesome.

Happy Friday!

Rock it!
Went on a few shoots these last couple of days on top of that having work done on my truck, yes I drive a truck [Chevy s10]... Does that make me more cooler. I don't think so, I hope to share some of the photos soon... one is going to be my shoot [sort of] and the other will be I am the assistant.

Here is another work in progress piece of art to my "T-Shirt" store, I think it is too busy as a lot of my art/designs sometimes can go... what are your thoughts?

Frankenweenie [Weak Spoilers]

Frankenweenie
From Disney comes acclaimed filmmaker Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie,” a visually stunning, black-and white, stop-motion animated film in 3D, featuring the talented voice cast of Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron, Conchata Ferrell and Winona Ryder.

“Frankenweenie” is a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

So who is excited about this film, I am so I thought I would share something I have not done since last year... I made a desktop for my computer and for you as well. Oh yeah... no spoilers I just get more attention when I post stuff like that, so if you were tricked... I am sorry!

You all have been Cherry Bomb'd!

Get to Know: Something wicKED...

-What is it about your blog about, what can people come and expect to see?
wicKED: My blog is mostly about celebrating all facets of Halloween. I cover horror, monsters, film, TV, modern media, history, and a great deal about my Yard Haunt. There are devoted pages to local (Southwest Virginia) haunted attractions, real haunted sites, party guides,DIY haunt projects, and recipes galore. There is also a healthy dose of humor (read sarcasm) sprinkled in for good measure. Every now and then I will post about the misadventures of my Halloween supportive girlfriend and our feline companions. Even though the blog is primarily a Halloween blog, I update it year round whenever I find wicKED things in the world. I try to participate in as many Blogverse events as I can to keep things going.

-Some of the biggest challenges you face as a blogger and making post?
wicKED: When I first started the blog, I thought content would be the biggest hurdle to keep a Holiday specific blog afloat. After a year behind the wheel of the beast, I find that time is my biggest enemy. Working a full time job and dealing with everyday life leaves little time for quality posts. I am a very visual person and that translates to my blog. After I post an article, I edit it at least 3 times before I leave it be to make sure it all fits , flows, and looks appealing. Finding content, both visual and information is easy. Putting it together in a cohesive and attractive package...that takes time....and time is hard to come by these days.

-What scares you about you?
wicKED: I'm really not afraid of much. I think the unknown is more frightening to me than anything. A zombie wants to eat your brains. That is predictable and as such I would not fear it. Some maniac stalker watching me from the woods is frightening in the sense there are so many unforeseeable actions on his part. I am also afraid of death. Not that I fear what is to come, but I fear tasks left undone. I fear not fulfilling my self before the end, and I regret wonders that I will never be able to experience after I pass. Maybe that is why I celebrate Autumn, death, and the supernatural to the extent I do.

-Tell us a little something about yourself... maybe a shhhh secret?
wicKED: That is dangerous territory. I have a day job where I am required to wear a full suit and act very, VERY mature, but I am a big kid inside. I am the guy that can barely sleep on Christmas eve still. I have more fun with my God-Daughters toys at Christmas than she does, and I still find myself horribly engrossed in cartoons whenever they come on TV.  I was almost killed in 2009 when a Jeep slid on ice and hit me. Since then, I have lived every day as if it were my last. Every reason to celebrate is taken. From promotions, to season premiers of TV shows. We even celebrate Arbor day to the fullest at The Wicked Woods. I very nearly started a blog about all holidays, but Halloween was the nearest and dearest to my heart and thus was born Something wicKED this way comes....

I wanted to thank Ked for giving me the chance to chat him up over the weekend, it is always cool to meet you all and to share a little more of your own personal madness. Also you can see that he and his pretty lady like to live up the Halloween holiday from the images they gave to me... well I hope these were Halloween shots... kidding I wish them all the best. Happy Haunting!

Joshua: Shall we play a game?
David Lightman: Oh!
Jennifer: [giggles] I think it missed him.
David Lightman: Yeah. Weird isn't it?
Jennifer: Yeah.
David Lightman: [typing] Love to. How about Global Thermonuclear War?
Joshua: Wouldn't you prefer a nice game of chess?
[Jennifer laughs]
David Lightman: [typing] Later. Let's play Global Thermonuclear War.
Joshua: Fine.

The job search has been up and down in the last couple of weeks, people are gearing up for the closing in holidays... which should bring more freelance coming my way. I have hopes that the estate people will call me, but it's only when they are in certain areas... where they cannot get people to drive.

It's all good, things are looking up and it is not always a meteor falling from the sky... so I found some old magazine things and I am going to share them with you. They are very entertaining, because where technology was and is now... some of you might remember.

So Sunday was my Birthday...

Off With My Head...
So if there a Tuesday Post [this one is preset], I didn't die... I have this fear that every birthday I have some how it will be my last, some damn phobia I have. Does anyone else have this kind of fear or is this pretty common, there has to be at least one more loon out there. What are you afraid of?

So I am old enough to be a father, too young to die..
I also wanted to apologize to all me friends, I just had a good friend's dad pass away and though I was not there like I should... I found a certain memory of my father dying. This brought some good and bad things that I wish I could have changed, so my last Friday's should have said I was too say... "I won't be leaving comments anymore on sites with the CAPTCHA", I just wanted to clarify.

So I was dealing with my own demons, you don't know what you have have until it's gone! The short of it is I knew my father as a father, didn't know him as a man... when I realized it, it was too late. I regret not taking the time to know him, I would have liked as a friend... not just loving him like my father.

Sorry Folks, I Have Decided to Quit...

AND SO ON... AND SO ON...
I am not going to visit anyone who has their "CAPTCHA CODE" on I cannot read them, I cannot see them and they are pointless... Some even still have this on and the "APPROVAL" thing on... why waste the time, I won't be leaving any more wasted time trying to decipher it anymore. My site averages around 10 spams a day [caught by Blogger] and I am a nobody, so you are a somebody... so please turn them off.

I have added a "FACEBOOK LIKE ME" page and I want to see you all come there, it's hopefully going to be a one stop place to see all the web happenings, art and design that I seem to do. So follow me down the wabbit hole I promise a world of wondrous things under the rainbow... I think I mentioned three movies in that last statement.

So I am not quitting the sites, just those who keep the "CAPTCHA" up... it's not you it's me... I am blind and found myself spending more time wiggling out letters and numbers.

Happy Friday!

Pretty isn't Made... Pretty is!

When a lady can wear no make up or next to none... that is beautiful! If a woman or a girl can pile it on to hide their imperfections... that is them hiding themselves. Think of your lady... is she?

Sex it up Wednesday... [Attention Spoilers]

I am on a weird schedule this week and I thought I would share the most inappropriate stuff I could find... so it will probably get the most attention cause the title alone! I also in my travels came across a handful of Hippie magazines from the late 1960's, so I will be sharing some of those pages... the one I found kind of neat was the ad for Jimi Hendrix playing in some venue... might have been big or small.

As you might have gathered too is there are no spoilers, just me being me... so if the title grabbed you "YOU MUST LEAVE A COMMENT"! Oh I wanted to mention I had over 250 Spam comments in less than two weeks, Blogger is doing it's job...

Ironettes: I am an Iron Man Fan...Stole this from The Geek Twins

Iron Man 2 had a lot of awesome stuff: Whiplash, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, the suitcase armor, War Machine, drone Iron Man robots. But what I loved almost as much as all that were the Ironettes. In case you don't know their name, you know who they were - the dancers wearing Iron Man-inspired costumes in the introduction of the StarkEXPO. I was laughing my head off at the over-the-top performance of that whole scene. While there's been a lot of buzz about the Ironettes, I thought we should bring it all together so you can find out everything you ever wanted to know (and more) about the Ironettes. You're welcome.

1. The Video - Okay, so first of all, let's watch them strut their stuff in the introduction of Iron Man 2.
------------------------------
------------------------------
2. Who They Are - The Ironettes were all beautiful and sexy, and it would be easy to just brush them off as a group of hot babes. But let's learn a little more about them as individuals. I couldn't get all the names of the Ironettes or even an exact count of how many there were. If you know of more, please let us know in the comments. But from what I can gather, some of the Ironettes are, in alphabetical order:

  • Melanie Brown - Former cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers
  • Gina Cantrell- Cheerleader for the Minnesota Timber-wolves and the Phoenix Suns
  • Sandy Colton - Former dancer from So You Think You Can Dance, singer, and cheerleader for the LA Lakers
  • Hannah Douglass - Model and dancer
  • Nadine Ellis - Actress and former member of the Pussycat Dolls
  • Krystal Ellsworth - Model and actress
  • Renee Herlocker - Former Denver Broncos cheerleader, also host for Spike and MTV, models for Red Bull
  • Annika Ihnat - Cheerleader for the Los Angeles Lakers
  • Jennifer D. Johnson- Professional dancer and actress
  • Jill Ann Pineda-Arnold - Dancer (that's all we could get on her)
  • Victoria Parsons - Victoria's Secret model and back-up dancer for musicians like Rihanna
  • Lindsay Rosenberg - Cheerleader for the Los Angeles Clippers
  • Jenny Robinson - Professional dancer for events such as NASCAR and Monday Night Football
  • Kylette Zamora - Model and dancer
  •
For more information as well as great photos of the Ironettes, there's no better source than Co-ed Magazine's profile

I yes stole this from my great friends "THE GEEK TWINS" hopefully they won't mind too much... there is more to this post and I encourage you all to stop over and read the rest. I am a huge fan of this franchise and this is one of those "GUY" things that I just needed to know more of. Guys thanks for this post I hope you do not banish me to the underworld... unless it's the Kate Benkinsale version.
