Midnight Movie: The Killer Cut!

Greetings Zombie Lovers,
I wanted to invite you all over to "Two Thumbs, Eight Fingers" I have had the fortunate luck to score some great interviews with the cast, director and composer of "Midnight Movie", which is getting a re-cut edition. This comes out this month, it is a fun movie theater experience in your own home and I wanted you to stop over and start following if you don't yet. I am planing the rest of the month of things to promote this film and all the cool people associated with it.  Please leave a comment or two, I am feeling very lonely over there... sad, really sad.

Jeremy [iZombie]

Merlin... Where is Merlin?

Happy Thursday/Friday... with your up and coming Independence Day I hope it is safe and family filled. Transformers III, is in the horizon and so is some good old fashion fireworks. I will be seeing you all next week and I hope to have the magic to a successful July. You are probably asking yourself why the Excalibur theme, don't really no I am just listening to the soundtrack. Thought I would share the main theme to this classic film that for the love of any god, doesn't not need to be remade, remixed, retooled, retold...

Happy Everything!

Why Helter Skelter?

So July is just around the corner, I am feeling a little buggy to the whole thing cause it feels like it was still January and things were fresh. Now we are more than halfway to 2012 and I am still looking for work, which it is still very grim for me and like a million others.  So I thought I would show you how I am feeling with this optical illusion and the awful spinning sensation I am experiencing... Listen to the music and just look at it... look at it... look at it.

See, I really don't watch Glee.

My bad it wasn't Michelle Lee, it's Lea Michele and she was born in 1986 so not all the way 30... See I am tough manly man. So I do not watch this, nor do I really know any of the characters... and had to find the photos via the internet to make this happen.

Now I will watch movies like Grease and Phantom Of The Opera, but a whiny bunch of kids singing in the school... no way. So for now I am going to run around the block, maybe lift some weights... watch me a cowboy movie with Clint Eastwood.... eat some Wheaties. Change the oil in my car, lift some weights... wait I said that... Crap.
:)
Great Day... Strong Day!
Jeremy

MMMM, Nice.... I Mean Crap...

Okay the answer for the "Who Am I Monday" is that 30 year old high school playing singer on the show "Glee" Michelle Lee....

Now I do not understand why this show is so popular, I don't get it... I tried watching it once and was like "Uggh" this is way to awful. Aren't these the kids who got beat up in your school, referred to as song birds.. canaries. Maybe someone got that it was her, and if you watch the show... and couldn't figure her out [shame on you]... well then my zombie skills have improved.

So my shoot was rained out for yesterday, will be trying again today... but I was able to take a series of very cool photos at Starved Rock, Illinois on Sunday that included some wild life including this "Zombie Horse". More of this very beautiful place coming soon... in the meantime don't get bit.

Your Friendly Neighborhood... Zombie-man,
Jeremy

WTF - Monday?

Wowzers... Monday so soon...
I cannot believe it is Monday all ready, and me with out my rain shoes. I am suppose to go on a photo shoot today, but the darn rain is coming down. Though the shoot is in a horse stable, it is still very early and there is a chance it might clear up.

So I give you the "who am I Monday", it might be easy for those who like this television crap... me personally don't get all the happy or joy out of it. So guess who I am... there is a prize for the first correct guess.

Brain, Brain...Go Away.

"House is in the House"
Happy Friday to All.
Hope your week has been going well and these crazy thunderstorms have not ruined your day. I wanted everyone to have a great couple of days off or to themselves, I hope you all have stopped by my review site to read all my great interviews with members of the cast and crew of "Midnight Movie". Just a couple more to go and I have filled the month of June with them, next month I have another series of with some great composers and directors. So if you have not gone, please do cause it is a jumping place.

So go there and leave a comment or two... heck follow me, you will not be disappointed.

Beavis is all grown up...

Where Are They Now?
Now if the time frame was correct and Beavis got out of the basement and had gotten into politics [come on you would voted for him] and was elected in... It would have only been a matter of time before he would have gotten caught exposing himself to someone, and the internet was a good place to start. Thank you Technology!
Now my question where is the other one Butt-head?

WTF - iZombie Wednesday Car Wash...

Working at the Car Wash [Wax On, Wax Off]
Bikini car washes are a summer event that occurs possibly as a fund raiser for a school, a sport association or another youth organization or charity. Typically, women in bikinis bring in donors by standing on a roadside with colorful cardboard signs or posters, and the cars are washed by their classmates in a nearby parking lot. Depending on the organization responsible, as well as the local laws, a variation of the bikini car wash sometimes occurs, in which the women will wash the car topless, usually for an extra fee. There are also commercial bikini car washes, where bikini-clad women actually wash the cars for a fee and the entertainment of the drivers. Hooters restaurants usually have bikini car washes in the summer to attract customers.

WTF - Dancing in iZombieland?

Look there is some blood, no I am totally digging this film trailer and the music from the trailer is here to... it's addictive.

Pina is a film for Pina Bausch by Wim Wenders. It's a film danced in 3D, borne aloft by the Tanztheater Wuppertal company and the singular art of this choreographer who died in the summer of 2009.
Its images invite us on a journey to the heart of a new dimension, at first on this legendary company's stage, then outside the theater, with the dancers, in the town of Wuppertal and the local area - this place that Pina Bausch had made her home base for 35 years and from which she drew her creative power.

WTF: I Pity the FOOL.. Who Don't Like Zombies!

I KNOW YOU ARE, BUT WHAT AM I?
Here is is Friday again and I have nothing to wear for my big goings on... so I thought "how about" dressing up my Pee-Wee as a zombie. Also, I wanted to let everyone know my stat numbers have jump by just adding the "WTF" at the start of every post. I am not sure why, but I like seeing the numbers go from 35 hits a day to 300... now I am not sure if that is the reason. I might just like adding "WTF" to everything, it might be my secret family recipe that makes the food just taste right.

What are you doing this weekend?
Happy Friday!

Also I wanted to let everyone I have been ghost postin' for the last several weeks, life has been pulling me in all sorts of directions. So sorry for the lack of attention to responses and I hope to be back real soon, though I find it's more difficult to load up in one day rather than day to day.

Monday WTF answer is "The Edge" from the group "U2", there will be a prize for any winners. I should be back on Wednesday to look over all the post and the comments... of course I hope there are some comments.

THE WOLF AND THE LAMB
A hungry Wolf one day saw a Lamb drinking at a stream, and wished to frame some plausible excuse for making him his prey. " What do you mean by muddling the water I am going to drink?" fiercely said he to the Lamb. " Pray forgive me," meekly answered the Lamb ; "I should be sorry in any way to displease you, but as the stream runs from you towards me, you will see that such cannot be the case." " That's all very well," said the Wolf; "but you know you spoke ill of me behind my back a year ago." " Nay, believe me," replied the Lamb, " I was not then born." " It must have been your brother then," growled the Wolf. " It cannot have been, for I never had nny," answered the Lamb. " I know it was one of your lot," rejoined the Wolf, " so make no more such idle excuses." He then seized the poor Lamb, carried him off to the woods, and ate him.

Only one of the best new/remake television shows in the last year "Hawaii Five-0" and you should be watching it if you do not... So making him into a zombie was cruel, yet now you know I can turn anyone into a member of the walking dead.

Jumping The Shark.... Heeeeeeeeyyyyy!

Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli (also Fonzie, The Fonz, or Fonz) is a fictional character played by Henry Winkler in the American sitcom Happy Days (1974–1984). He was originally a secondary character, but eventually became the lead. By the mid 1970s, he dwarfed the other characters in popularity.

As a child, he and his mother were abandoned by his father. The only advice Fonz remembered his father giving was, "Don't wear socks in the rain." When he disappeared, he left a locked box for his son, but not a key; Arthur did everything to open the box, finally running over it with his tricycle. The contents? "The key, and that's it!" In the sixth season episode "Christmas Time", a sailor delivers a Christmas present ostensibly from his father, who wishes to make amends. Fonzie is resentful, but at the end of the episode reads his father's letter explaining why he left and opens it. He also learns that the sailor was his father, who admits in the letter that he doubted he would have the courage to reveal the truth to his son. In a later episode, Fonz unexpectedly meets a woman he believes is his mother in a diner. She convinces him she is not, but in the end, she looks at a picture of Fonz as a small child and sighs.

"Jumping The Shark"
The phrase "jumping the shark", a term originating from a melodramatic Happy Days scene in which Fonzie jumps on water skis over a tank of sharks, has become part of popular culture. The expression denotes the moment when a television series loses its credibility due to predictable repetition or contrived extensions of its theme, usually as a result of the writers being unable to maintain its quality indefinitely.

21 Questions: Stacey Levin [Publicist]

I had the "EXTREME" pleasure of interviewing "Stacey Levin" [Publicist] for my "21 Question Interviews" over at the review site, please stop over and take a look. Give it Away, Give it Away, Give it Away... Now!

Captain Spaulding
Portrayed by Sid Haig
Homicidal clown and owner of a gas station/tourist attraction with a serial killer/freak show/horror theme. He enjoys fried chicken and has an African American brother named Charlie Altamont who is a pimp. His violent personality kicks in if someone disrespects clowns. In The Devil's Rejects he is revealed to be the patriarch of the Firefly clan and the father of Baby Firefly. Throughout The Devil's Rejects Otis refers to him as "Cutter", a nickname given to him by Charlie after Spaulding committed his first murder. Spaulding's real name is Johnny Lee Johns. He is named after Groucho Marx's character in the film Animal Crackers.
