Have you Met... Vixen Vintage

A great stumble as I am out looking for some of the greatest sites out there and today I wanted you to meet Solanah of "Vixen Vintage". She recently had a post of herself in a vintage Super Girl outfit and if you know me you know I love anything Superman related. I know I am working on bring you a "Man of Steel" June up and to the new film release.

Well I do what I do and asked her if it was okay to use one of her images for me to add some art/design, she said yes... I am thrilled. She is a doll, in a fashion vixen way... So here is my take on her wonderful photo and if you would like please take a stop over and say "Hello"!  I ask you "Have you Met... Vixen Vintage"?

Much Respect to her and a thanks to Cal of "Calvin's Canadian Cave of Coolness" for his great finds across the world.

Wolf Pack is Back... Who Cares if they go back to Las Vegas?

It’s been two years. Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Doug (Justin Bartha) are happily living uneventful lives at home. Tattoos have been lasered off, files purged. The last they heard from disaster-magnet Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong), he’d been tossed into a Thai prison and, with him out of the way, the guys have very nearly recovered from their nights prowling the seamy side of Las Vegas in a roofie’d haze, and being kidnapped, shot at, and chased by drug- dealing mobsters in Bangkok.

The only member of the Wolfpack who’s not content is Alan (Zach Galifianakis). Still lacking a sense of purpose, the group’s black sheep has ditched his meds and given in to his natural impulses in a big way-which, for Alan, means no boundaries, no filters and no judgment-until a personal crisis forces him to finally seek the help he needs.

Taking Baby Steps... no way, I hope this film doesn't top the Star Trek film. More people need to see it, than this... but I love Alan... he and I are much alike.

Good news for me at least, all four of my books are uploaded I just need to get a sample for giggles... then it will be me and a whole new world of me begging you all to go look into it... I am also thinking to giveaway a couple sets, make a sample of the four and wait I all ready mentioned begging you all.

So what are you doing this weekend?

This is for the LADY: MINIONS a quiet THANK YOU!

LADY: MINIONS and a little TREK'ING!
I have falling behind and I wanted to make sure you all know that you helped me out in the A to Z Challenge, with your skill and wit. Helping scrap the baddies from the list of participants and we had another great year and challenge. So I was going to thank the MINIONS one day at a time, but I am buried up to my eyes with crazy freelance and editing. In no particular order here they are and I encourage you all to go visit their sites.

THANK YOU, again... I hope that you all don't mind that I used your site photo, all a great bunch of ladies... in fact why don't you go to their sites and say "Hello".

Star Trek Into the Darkness... anyone? Have you by now seen it?

Anime Central: First Share and She is Lovely!!

YUKINO (Born July 8th, 1991) is a Japanese female vocalist and a radio personality. She was born in Fukuoka, and grew up in Yokohama. Yukino is a rising star in Japanese music industry today.

When Yukino was a child, she enjoyed singing American hard rock, funk, and R&B music. By the time she was a teenager, she dreamed to be a singer, and started vocal training with a voice trainer. Before she made her debut, her songs were used as theme songs of Japanese TV programs due to her characteristic voice and outstanding vocalization skills.

In February 2012, Yukino made her debut, and her first EP “You make me blue” was released by Nippon Columbia (Columbia Records in Japan). “RanTiKi” is one of Yukino’s most well-known songs as it was featured as the opening theme song of Japanese TV animation “BAKUMATSU GIJINDEN ROMAN,” which was designed by MONKEY PUNCH, the original creator of the “LUPIN THE THIRD” series.

Her 1st full album “VOCALIZE” was unveiled in March, 2013. Needless to say, “RanTiKi” is the lead track of this album. You can enjoy her powerful, sexy and sensitive vocal styles in many genres such as jazz, funk, rock, R&B, dance, and ballad.

Yes... Yes she is lovely, we got a meet and greet... as part of the Anime Central list of who's who! More to come... she sings for us and it will be for everyone's ears.

Star Trek: Into the Darkness... Hey Wait a Second!

So after a long weekend of a fantastic time at the ANIME CENTRAL, somehow I got to see this little Screen-Gem of a film called "Star Trek". I wasn't sure what I was watching cause I have never heard of this film or series before and so without spoilers... Here we go.

First I am kidding about this film, I have been and always will be a fan of this franchise known as Star Trek... many of you are just the same. I enjoyed this film, I wanted to see it again right after the first end credit began to roll. There is a twist and there is a turn, but there is also a story... not just let's blow something up. Seems like I wasn't the only one to see this over the weekend, hope it holds strong.

I am going to start sharing some of the photos I had taken at the Anime Central, so look for those if that is your cup of tea... I have a week of freelance, so I have not had the time to edit anything yet.

Why is it Women don't like the THREE STOOGES?

The Three Stooges were an American vaudeville and comedy act of the early to mid–twentieth century best known for their numerous short subject films. Their hallmark was physical farce and extreme slapstick. In films, the Stooges were commonly known by their first names: "Moe, Larry, and Curly" or "Moe, Larry, and Shemp," among other lineups.

With so many of the best versions being the original crew that included Curly... with the coolness of Shemp, are there any of my readers who do in fact like, love this lovable trio... or is it still a guy thing? Now if the lady was real, I mean I know she is a real person... I mean if Sarah Walker of NBC'S Chuck were a real gal, she would like them. Well in my head I think she would...

Who is your favorite Stooge... and why?

Star Trek Into Darkness... is Here.

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

I am not reading any reviews, watching any reviews... so stop until the weekend is out to give your thoughts. I hated people who felt the need to ruin Iron Man III on Friday morning, cause they saw it midnight and here comes their opinion on Facebook... I get it you saw it, I say please "SHHHHHHHH" for others to see it.

Die-hard fans will see it sometime from opening night until Sunday, keep it to yourself... the rest will see it that think this is the buzz and the rest... just go see the Great Gatsby.

So are you a spoiler or a friend of mine?

Can You Answer It?... and don't say "SHOWGIRLS"

Many of the Italian horror films still haunt me and many of the British witch-hunt films from the late sixties and early seventies... scar'd me.

So for a film that scares me... I sadly cannot remember the title, though I can tell you the scene I recall. A woman was hanging upside on a board in a hallway with the moonlight peering in a window to reveal her naked body. Though a layer of her skin had been peeled off and someone covered her in a paint lacquer from head to toe. She couldn't scream and she was still alive... the film was this house where the people were tortured and they could not get out. Somewhere in the late 70's, anyone ever hear/see this? Now it was a image I see once in awhile and my parents tell me that it was a dream and they wouldn't let me watch something so horrid.

Oh my childhood leads me to the life I live... no not in horror!

MANGA, What is it REALLY?

Manga are comics created in Japan, or by Japanese creators in the Japanese language, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century. They have a long, complex pre-history in earlier Japanese art.

Kanagaki Robun and Kawanabe Kyosai created the first manga magazine in 1874: Eshinbun Nipponchi. The magazine was heavily influenced by Japan Punch, founded in 1862 by Charles Wirgman, a British cartoonist. Eshinbun Nipponchi had a very simple style of drawings and did not become popular with many people. Eshinbun Nipponchi ended after three issues. The magazine Kisho Shimbun in 1875 was inspired by Eshinbun Nipponchi, which was followed by Marumaru Chinbun in 1877, and then Garakuta Chinpo in 1879. Shōnen Sekai was the first shōnen magazine created in 1895 by Iwaya Sazanami, a famous writer of Japanese children's literature back then. Shōnen Sekai had a strong focus on the First Sino-Japanese War.

Sorry for the quick history lesson, I really thought it was the same thing as ANIME... I really need to get my terms right or Anime Central Convention will eat me alive...

You might ask yourself what that is, well look below in today's earlier posts. Also... I am really hating the CAPTCHA sites, I have great friends with great posts and still they leave these damn things on. Topper too is then they have the "Approval" on too... trust me you can just turn off "ANONYMOUS" and 95% of your worries are gone. So to those friends, sorry I visit... no more comments.

I am not a robot!
