I forgot to mention... I won this...

Many moons ago my great friend and blogger "Halloween Overkill" ran a contest to win this cool devil mask from "Trick Or Treat Studios" ... and some devil put this mask on and sneaked into my bathroom, leaving me this scary photo on my digital camera. I wanted to thank all who got me this mask, I did make a deal with the devil to win... oh my... what did i have to do to win... i pray my soul to keep!

I think I am going to make an unofficial Blogfest, "Bitching About Ten Years"... cause I have this black cloud that has hung over my head for the last 10 years. Can anyone take these curses off, remove hexes, exorcisms, maybe pull this atomic wedgie out of my back end...

Almost to the end of the year and the furnace goes out, try find someone to fix it near the pending holiday...

Now I walk into our kitchen this morning and the fuse blows, now I am standing in the dark... no light, no coffee and best of all no replacement fuse....

Add cat with a nasty hair ball, for like four hours and me finding it all in the dark, and on top of it... it's raining!

So happy last ten years... could all my personal bad stuff please be gone, it just keep coming...

Years ago I had interviewed members of the band "G.W.A.R." in the late 90's and I was having a small [Empire Records] chat about it with my blog sister Morgan @ "The Kid in the Hall"... I told I would try to find the photos and post them. Story is these guys are crazy and at some point I lost control of the situation and I was becoming an honorary member of the band, boy it was a great time. Oh the stories of the rest of the day, I only wish I had more than a few photos...

Making Of: Dave Sills' "Life Without Love"...

I love this song, and I got the opportunity of being an assistant one of the three day shoot over late summer. My great friend Kevin [director] and his talented group of "Posthouse Pictures" Brian [producer], Kim [camera], Dave [assistant] and the talents of Dave Sills [and band], put together this telling of life without love...

The video got it debut on December 14th and the numbers of views has skyrocketed, I am just happy to be part of it... Here is the bonus "Making of the Video" a little behind the scenes, are they still called videos? All the best of luck and all their up and coming projects!

This is the coolest little [i don't mean little] zombie drawings and "TOO MANY ZOMBIES" is back with a vengeance... I am so happy I could cry.... Fair Dinkum Award and a Hearty THANK YOU!

I have to say when I began this blog it was a joke, that I would never thought to take off... some silly idea in my head. I have made some good friends and have been part of a world I did not think possible, I know I am going on about this. It has been a rough year from unemployment, to my 18 year old cat passing away, to my brother's oldest son passing away, to even the squirrel eating my wires in my truck and the list goes on.

Everyday I come here and cross my fingers that there is a comment waiting to be read, tells me someone comes here. Now don't get me wrong there was some great stuff in the last year... we got Casey [kitten] from a kill shelter and rescued him from this awful place, I finally got a photo of a hawk [long story], got to finally see my brother's home and his wonderful family [though i wish better situation] and meeting many of you here or on your blogs...

So I have turned this into a end of the year letter, instead of it just being a blogger award... but that is what makes this place mine... I can do it... It's what it's all about, sharing stuff... about anything.

So one of my good friends "Ellie Garratt" has given me this "Fair Dinkum Award" which is Australian phrase which as an adjective means “real” and as an expression means “Seriously?” or “For real?”... I wanted to thank her and pass it along to a few well deserving sites, that I have grown to love...
