I loved the Monkees growing up - granted I caught it on reruns on Nickelodeon. I remember watching the old sci-fi shows with my brothers: Doctor Who, Knight Rider, Battlestar Galactica. But I love the old comedies too especially I Dream of Jeannie and I Love Lucy!
ReplyDeleteGreat list there are a number on there that I now need to add to my netflix queue!
Some of those take me back to my childhood. Who's Line Is It Anyway - both the British and American versions were great.
ReplyDeleteMy father flew with Pappy Boyington. Wild Wild West was known for its innovative weapons for the time frame,
ReplyDeleteThe Wild, Wild, West is, to this day, one of my favorite t.v. shows. You mention quite a few gems from the past....back in a time when television was innovative and fresh. It's a shame how downhill broadcasting has gone, these day....
ReplyDeletehey, Zombie Master, just here to water the plants and to see if you're OK, haven't seen you in days so I'm worried a bit ....
ReplyDeleteNothing started with x or z! Hmmm? Brought back lots of memories!
ReplyDeleteThanks, now I wanna watch the Munsters all day lol!
ReplyDeleteI know every Brady Bunch episode by heart, I can tell you between which episodes they change the squares to the older kids...such useless knowledge. Would be much better if I remembered my shopping list when going to the store...
ReplyDeleteTAKE ANY TIKI! (name the episode)

If the Superman listing is for what I think it is, it should read Adventures of Superman.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't got CHiPS on your list. I loved that show, I used to watch it with my dad.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a long list! I wasn't a fan of most of those though. I preferred the old sci-fi shows. :)

I see great minds think alike - I went with Oingo Boingo for today's post as well, but I chose Noting Bad Ever Happens to Me.
ReplyDeletethat is indeed a long list ... interesting post. I'm following you now, via the challenge! See ya soon on www.disha-doshi.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list, and I just have to say that I loved The Monkees.
ReplyDeleteWow! Talk about memories. My favorites to go back and watch are the westerns, like Bonanza. - Barbara
ReplyDeleteLife & Faith in Caneyhead
Robin Hood, Superman, and Bewitched, (just to name a few) are some of my favourites from younger days. I liked the new movie Avengers. You have done all of your A to Z in one post. :)

The Monkees , The Munsters and The Addams Family were my favorites. Any hey, some of my comments on your older posts are saying blog owner approval, are you monitoring them for some reason?
ReplyDeleteMakes me wonder how many actual hours of my life I have spent behind a TV screen.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm better off not knowing the answer to that!
Long live the boob tube!
