"X" is for X MARS THE SPOT - MARS NEEDS MOMS - A to Z April Challenge [2015]

So what can we say about Disney? Holds a special place in some of our hearts, for the villains or heroes and or the beautiful look. I hope to share a little bit of everything in the days coming, maybe things you forgot about, maybe not and being part of the Co-hosting for A to Z Challenge we all remember Tina... a dear friend and sweet lady.

Please stop back throughout the challenge, can I encourage you to start following me on Google + and be a member. I promise to give you posts here on why we are all a little "Hollywood Nuts"! -Jeremy [Retro]

Mars Needs Moms is a 2011 American 3D motion capture computer-animated science fiction comedy film co-written and directed by Simon Wells, and based on the Berkeley Breathed book of the same title. The film is centered on Milo, a nine-year-old boy who finally comes to understand the importance of family, and has to rescue his mother after she is abducted by Martians. It was released on March 11, 2011 by Walt Disney Pictures. The film stars both Seth Green (motion capture) and newcomer Seth Dusky (voice) as Milo.

This was the last film by ImageMovers Digital before it was absorbed back into ImageMovers. The film was a commercial and critical flop, and is the fourth biggest box office bomb in history (adjusted for inflation), grossing less than $39 million on a budget of $150 million.

  3. Not what you'd call a perfect Martian success but at least Disney tried.

  9. My husband and I were both fans of Bloom County but neither of us knew about this movie, or book. I enjoyed the storyboards and photos. I've been enjoying seeing how various A to Z'rs coped with the letter X. X marks the spot indeed. Alanaramblinwitham.blogspot.com
