"O" is for ONE OF OUR DINOSAURS IS MISSING [1975] - A to Z April Challenge [2015]

So what can we say about Disney? Holds a special place in some of our hearts, for the villains or heroes and or the beautiful look. I hope to share a little bit of everything in the days coming, maybe things you forgot about, maybe not and being part of the Co-hosting for A to Z Challenge we all remember Tina... a dear friend and sweet lady.

Please stop back throughout the challenge, can I encourage you to start following me on Google + and be a member. I promise to give you posts here on why we are all a little "Hollywood Nuts"! -Jeremy [Retro]

One of Our Dinosaurs is Missing is a 1975 comedy film, which is set in the early 1920s, about the theft of a dinosaur skeleton from the Natural History Museum. The film was produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by Buena Vista Distribution Company. The title is a parody of the film title One of Our Aircraft Is Missing, in which both Peter Ustinov and Hugh Burden also appeared. The film was based on the 1970 novel The Great Dinosaur Robbery by David Forrest (pseudonym of David Eliades and Robert Forrest Webb).

  2. I thought the movie poster was a riot, but that trailer was AWESOME!! It's looks really bad, but if it's based on a book AND it's Disney...it might actually be good.

  6. This is one of those classics that will always mean childhood to me. I'm not sure when I saw it or where (couldn't have been when it first came out because I was 3 ;)), but it sums up classic Disney for me.

  12. This one is new to me and I have watched a ton of old Disney movies. My God mother used to run a private school and she had a library filled with books but here was a section with Disney movies and I watched just about all of them.

  13. Interesting. Never heard of this one. I like the title and concept. I'd also likely be realized to awake to the realization that one of my dinosaurs was missing.

  21. I always wanted to see this movie but never got the chance. My mum wasn't interested in cute Disney films, so cinema trips only included adventure films like Superman. Which now I think about it, was rather cool.

  22. That is just full of weirdness.
