Nostradamus and I at the Crossroad!!... Choose Your Own Apocalypse Blogfest?

Choose Your Own Apocalypse Blogfest brought to you by... Shannon: The Warrior Muse Chuck: Apocalypse Now and by the time you read this we should all be dead. If not it will be happening soon enough, now I don't know how to tell you this... it was foreseen years ago.

How do you Prepare for the DOOM... ask an expert!!
I met Nostradamus at the crossroads to see if he could shed some light on the pending doom we all should have endured or close to it. He said "CHOOSE" the path here at the crossroads, which way will show you your future... I looked at him, cause he has always been right before. I looked at this dusty road that had two paths, one was a certain death and the other well free to live out my days on this Earth... One will bring the twenty-second... I feel like Indiana Jones in the Last Crusade having to pick the cup or even to the extremes of Sophie having to make a choice... [CLICK HERE] to see my path and maybe your path too...

Good Bye... everyone, might see you tomorrow? If this was the first time stopping by well then I am sorry you could not stay longer, but if you do see sunlight on December 22, 2012.. please stop over to my T-SHIRT store and pick up yourself one of my cool shirts.  WINK!
-Jeremy [Retro-Zombie]

I am the one playing on the left!!

  1. Nostradamus is The Man! (The "click here" link didn't work for me, though). If he says the world is ending, I'll believe him over a calendar.

    Thanks for a fun post!

  2. I do believe I will see you tomorrow! Well, not SEE you. You know what I mean.
Now, throw me the idol and I'll throw you the whip.

  3. If the end comes tonight, I shall miss you, J-man, but do not despair, I promise to come back as a zombie who will pay you a visit with a horde of friends :)

  7. I need to buy a new calendar. Maybe ol' Nosie could point me in the right direction?

  9. I really like your new blog look too, and the Nostradamus picture quote. This was fun, Jeremy. I just wish I could open the link. I hope it's not an omen that I couldn't. I do plan to see you tomorrow and/or thereafter.

    Be well.

  12. Meeting Nostradamus at the crossroads is wonderfully philosophical and fun. I hope the 22nd rolls around unhindered so I can keep visiting your blog.

  16. The link error is your path?? Nice choice, just dissolve into the interwebs. The guitar video didn't work but I remember that scene in Rambo. Glad you got to meet Nos...kind of like Bill and Ted meeting Socrates!

  17. Nostradamus shares his wisdom--lucky you :D Nice take on the Apocalypse!

  18. Another day completed successfully and I didn't die yet. Of course as I write this where I am I still have 2 1/2 hours to go. I'd better shut up now.

  19. Thanks to Indy, your choice is clear. If you take the shiny, impressive-looking path, you'll burn up or dissolve or die some other horrible death. Take the old-looking path, the plain one, and you'll be just fine.

So go ahead. I'll be right here, waiting at the crossroads to see what happens before I make my own pick.

I had not seen "Crossroads" until recently-that guitar duel scene is classic.

  25. Ah, the dilemma - which path looks more obvious? Do you choose that one, or is it a red-herring? Or is it, in fact, a double-cross....? Your brain could go into overload trying to decide and you end up taking neither route!
    ;-)

(love the little zombie dudes at the bottom of the page!)

  26. You got to meet Nostradamus? Damn, that'd be pretty cool.

But, I say you take the path less traveled... which is unfortunately the one that likely leads to certain death.

  27. Well, looks like we made it. Kind of anti-climatic, no?

  28. I watched the entire guitar duel scene even though I own the movie on DVD - great stuffs!

In fact, I won tickets to see the 'CROSSROADS' Los Angeles premiere (1986?) at the famous Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. through the Jazz & Blues radio station I always listened to.

And I saw a mention of Howlin' Wolf on this blog. I'm a great fan of the great Howlin' Wolf - my #1 all-time favorite Bluesman.

    Good post, Bro!
