John Carl Buechler [Director]: Immersed In Ink Tattoo Arts & Horror Festival

JOHN CARL BUECHLER: has made his name known as an accomplished writer, producer, director and special effects artist. Since his early years, Buechler was thrilled with a passion of special effects and formed his own company, Mechanical Imageries Inc., for creating special effects for a handful of motion pictures in the science fiction and horror/fantasy genre. Although he is known for his fascinating make-up work, as a director, Buechler made his debut on an anthology fantasy film entitled Ragewar (1984). A year later, he directed and also designed the special effects for another fantasy film called Troll (1986), which became a major success during its theatrical release in 1986. Troll (1986), Ragewar (1984) and another Buehcler-directed effort, Cellar Dweller (1988), were films that were produced by Charles Band's then-collapsing Empire Pictures, in which Buechler often worked on dozens of Band's films as an effects artist. His work as a director led him to direct the seventh sequel to the ever famous Friday the 13th (1980) for Paramount Pictures. Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988), like its many sequels was another box-office success, even though Buechler at the time was skeptical about directing the film. In recent years, Buechler has continued on his long accomplished work in special effects and many of his directorial efforts have been release to directly to video. [Halloween 4, Troll, Nightmare on Elm St 4, Hatchett, Hatchett II]

I know how cool is this, I have been a fan of his work for years and now I get the great chance to chat, shake his hand. I was at another point where I could not speak, just because... of it was a true honor to be in the same area with him. Ice was broken when we started talking about the art he had been drawing on the table, I of course asked him for it... we laughed. I did see later someone steal it with a large cutting knife, this while John was taking a break... dammit it was suppose to be mine.

ANDY MACKENZIE: is known for his work on Shoot 'Em Up (2007), MacGruber (2010) and Sushi Girl (2012).

I know what you are saying... how much stuff was at this Tattoo Arts & Horror Festival, well plenty. I talked with Andy and he assured me that "Sushi Girl" was not what you think it might with a title like this. I felt like it was a nice modern day "Reservoir Dogs meets Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" and I finally did see it. He laughed cause I have the film and wasn't brave enough to watch the entire thing.

As an actor, Whitaker is most recognized as Maynard, the sadistic pawn shop owner, in PULP FICTION, Quentin Tarantino's high velocity masterpiece that is widely hailed as one of the best films ever made. Of course, you don't walk onto the set of a ground breaking film like PULP FICTION without paying your dues. From the time he arrived in Hollywood, Duane's face was seen frequently on the stage and small screen. [Rob Zombie's Halloween II, Pulp Fiction, From Dusk Til Dawn II, The Devils' Rejects, Texas Chainsaw Massacre III]

Robert Mukes [Actor]: Immersed In Ink Tattoo Arts & Horror Festival

ROBERT MUKES: Hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, Mukes always had the goal of acting professionally in mind. A sports scholarship for basketball was his ticket out to the west coast. Mukes took the drive and determination he acquired from professionally playing basketball and applied those qualities into his acting. Robert has spent an extensive amount of time receiving professional training in the field of acting. Standing at 6'10, Mukes uniquely stands out from his fellow actors. His light, charasmatic presence lends to the humorous side of his characters, while the slight darkness that lingers in his physicality lends to the darker more serious side of his characters. This mixture creates a unique and fresh blend that has never been seen before in Hollywood. Tiffany Shepis [Actress]: Immersed In Ink Tattoo Arts & Horror Festival

TIFFANY SHEPIS: Voluptuous New York-born beauty Tiffany Shepis has become a princess of scream. In her films she often upstages more seasoned actresses and has some great dance grooves. Can be seen at shows like Chiller and will obviously make the move from indie schlock to mainstream films as time goes on and a good agent looks after her career. She been involved in filmmaking since the ripe old age of 12 and has appeared in numerous videos with people like Lil' Zane, Wu-Tang Clan, Dexter Holland, Run DMC and Destiny's Child video "Nasty Girl", but this particular video was never released. Tiffany also shot a spot for Nintendo but it was pulled for being too (Janet Jackson-like) raunchy. She loves blood and gore but detests violence and is a very good reason why men prefer brunettes. (Cyrus - Dark Reel - Man vs Woman - Exit To Hell - Hallows Eve - Do Not Disturb - The Maladjustied - Wrath of the Crows) http://www.screamshepis.com/

She played host on the spot for the event and at some point helped me to a chair when she noticed I was looking rather dizzy from the girl with the hooks in her back.
