10+1 FILMS YOU SHOULD SEE...

I Have a Secret...
How many people tell you see a movie because they liked it, and for them is the best film ever. You then see it and say, wow that film sucked...My list is not the best movies ever, they are films you should see and say that you saw them. Maybe you will tell someone someday, you have to see this...

These are not in any sort of order and most are on some sort of DVD or old reliable VHS, does anyone still have a player... man that was slow.

01. BUBBA HO-TEP
02. ZORRO THE GAY BLADE
03. THE FORBIDDEN ZONE
04. HIGHWAY TO HELL
05. ZENTROPA
06. PHOTOGRAPHING FAIRIES
07. FARAWAY, SO CLOSE
08. MOTORAMA
09. THE PRINCESS BRIDE
10. BUCKAROO BANZAI - ACROSS THE 8TH DIMENSION

Feel free to add your picks, let me know what you are watching...

  1. I am ashamed to say the only movie I recognize out of all of these is The Princess Bride. Eeep! But I'll definitely add the rest to Netflix. My brother-in-law were talking over the weekend about movies and discovered we both had Blade Runner and Dragonslayer on BETA when we were kids. Remember that thing?? LOL

  2. I've seen half of those. The Princess Bride IS one of the best movies ever. Bubba Ho-Tep was a bizarre comedy. Think Campbell had fun making it.

  5. Gotta love Bruce Campbell, although I'd go with My Name Is Bruce over Bubba Ho-Tep.

Nice to see The Forbidden Zone and Buckaroo Banzai in your list. I'd have to add Re-Animator, Heavenly Creatures, and House.

  7. I have seen about half of these, guess I need to find the rest!

Now, as a book nerd I must say that if you have watched and liked The Princess Bride or Photographing Fairies that the books are even better..

  11. Great list Jeremy. I would hate to meet someone that has never seen Princess Bride. If someone has seen Buckaroo Bonzai I consider them a friend for life.

    IT WAS AWESOME!
    2 fruits, 1 vegetable and 1 flower.
I can't believe how many people never even heard of it.
Now I want to watch it again.

  13. I'm totally with 1,3,4,9 and 10. I'd also like to add Repo Man, The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T, and Dark Star to the list!

It's been DECADES since I've watched Zorro: The Gay Blade... must give it another look.
