August 19, 2013 @ THE GEEK TWIN - "It's Time" Book Tour - Jeremy Hawkins

August 19, 2013 - The Geek Twins

Hanging out with the twin brothers, though I think there might be more of them... they are everywhere.  I have been playing with .gifs again... this one was a cat that was floating around the internet, this is what I see.

So please click to the geeks and read my adventure of mission that never ends.

Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935. It illustrates what he saw as the problem of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects, resulting in a contradiction with common sense. The scenario presents a cat that may be both alive and dead, depending on an earlier random event. Although the original "experiment" was imaginary, similar principles have been researched and used in practical applications. The thought experiment is also often featured in theoretical discussions of the interpretations of quantum mechanics. In the course of developing this experiment, Schrödinger coined the term Verschränkung (entanglement).

    2. Maurice, I happen to read that your brother suffers from migraines. Did you know that botox injections have been found to cure the pain of migraines? Apparently due to its paralyzing effect upon the nerve/s that run up the front of the forehead that have been found to be involved in migraine, it can give relief for around 4 weeks from the pain.

Not sure about the US, but in the UK it is now a recognised treatment for migraine - which also has now been discovered to not be a headache as such, but a chemical disorder of the brain, and also hereditary. I too have suffered, so I sympathise with your brother.
