August 16, 2013 - HeroPress Tour Continues...

August 16, 2013 - HeroPress

So I am off schedule for whatever reason, but I think I figured it out... so I have a slight dilemma, there is no one entering the giveaway from above. I feel so alone all these prizes and no one to share them with, the main way is to enter by sending me an email. Tell me from where you read about me and my tour, then tell me what time it is... the others are important. Just not most important. All the details are up there... I want to add more to the list each month, like a free redesign of your site. Just the way you want not a forced cloned look. So go up visit my friends over at HeroPress and get your Cape and Cowl on!

  1. I'll plug it again in my post Monday and send out a Tweet right now. Any blog work from you should be a prized possession - no one does better.

  3. if nobody is entering, you should just choose the winners among all who commented during your blogtour, that is how most other people do it, Jeremy.

    2. us royalty always feel lonely on our thrones....

Most people feel unpleasant to enter giveaways when some form has to be filled or an email sent because it sounds as if you're there to get the award... this is why I think just commenting works better in giveaways....

  5. I wanted your other friends to get the prizes. I'm a shy guy. Desmond has the right idea. It hurts to throw a party like this and not getting the response you want. I'll let you in on a secret: I can't even GIVE The Rival away for free -- even with the enticement of a free Johnny Depp autograph for reviews! In comparison you are doing just fine, Jeremy. I will tweet and Fb your contest for you. :-)

  6. Oh good grief, while still frantically looking for a cloning machine, I'm going to do my best to get more folks aware of what you're trying to do. Prizes are good. Like I've noted, people might be a tad shy to enter.

Wishing you a pleasant weekend, Jeremy.

Gary, at least I think I'm Gary :)

  7. Jeremy,

I'd gladly plug you, but as you are well aware, my small audience has become minuscule, so you probably wouldn't benefit from it.

I think the problem is, we're not pimping our manginas enough. What do you think? I know the digital artists I follow very, very rarely bother replying to folks who comments and sure as hell don't bother visiting blogs of those who do comment.

The gamers are a tight bunch and rarely wander away from their own, which I can understand, and only the hardcore amongst them post on a regular basis, but usually have a loyal following.

Then you have the writers - an eclectic mix to say the least, and predominantly female and over 30, and usually into 'YA' (young adult) fiction - think Shitelight... erm, I mean, Twighlight, or into the heaving chests, muscular arms and swooning ladies type of fiction. They can be a loyal fan base, but also prone to sudden vanishing acts.

So, there you go. But, if I can help in any way possible just give me the nod :)

Regarding the book cover thing (and I apologise if I've told you this already), on Google+ there are a plethora of writing circles to join, and that's where I had my four eager writers who wanted covers doing. So, sign up to those, follow their posting guidelines and then advertise your skills. I'm sure you'll get mucho worko, hombre :) You deserve it, bud.

[Retro] Love the Comments, not so much the Spam... so I have enough man-pills, fake gold watches and link-back options that I need. Thank you!

No More Anonymous Monkeys to much of the above mentioned, sorry sometimes I get some nice things.
