SOUNDTRACKS/SCORES, FILMS, BOOKS AND MORE!

So a Funny Thing Happened on My Way to My Blog Post Today...

You Have the Right!
Where have all the tough guy movies gone... we had "Last Man Standing", "Snitch", "Bullet to the Head", "Parker"... hell even "Jack Reacher" and "Stand Up Guys". I know these actors most of them have seen their films punch the lights out of the competition over the years. It sort of worked to bring them all into one movie like "The Expendables" and I am sure it's going to be buddy films a lot more.

Have we become so afraid of gun violence that we need to sensor guns in film, I hate to tell you... guns don't kill, people kill. Some of the best action films have guns. There is no right time to stop movie violence, people need to be aware in their own homes. Be responsible for your own action. You don't need a an assault rifle to protect yourself, people need to feel safe... 900 rounds of ammo is just a little too much.

So I guess I am saying I am for and against protecting yourself... it's just the amount. I don't think I would mess with someone if I knew they had even one gun.

  1. Well said. No, an elephant gun is not ideal home defense. Unless you are being attacked by elephants. Zombie elephants. Then remember the double tap.
Here in the southern part of the USA, breaking into someone's house would be suicide because everyone has a gun! And at three in the morning, everyone looks like a deer caught in headlights.

  2. I beg to differ with you on the ammo. With the skyrocketing price, better to have some on hand.
@Alex I can go from sound asleep to wide awake in seconds. I live in the south too!

  3. yes, we do need to censor guns in movies... I'd ban them totally! I'd ban all the guns forever! The love and excitement for guns is one of the things which cause violence, not to mention all the action films and games which depict guns and violence as something cool and glamurous...

  4. Hey Jeremy, I'm doing the A to Z. But, I keep seeing your comments EVERYWHERE. So, I thought I'd stop by and I'm even following (I'm the dog caught in the tree).

I am just TOSSING THIS OUT (Arlee Bird style)... So long as the current administration is pursuing doing away with the 2nd Amendment, I think it is very likely that we are going to see a huge shift in the movies that come out of Hollywood. Everything works to suit the Agenda of this administration. If the Agenda is to get rid of guns then what we will see in our newspapers, on our TVs, in our cinemas, etc. will further that agenda. The only Gun Movies that come out will Propagandize the notion that guns kill innocent people and they need to be taken away. No one needs to own a gun. The 2nd Amendment needs to be stricken. It is responsible for the deaths of innocent citizens. So long as you control the narrative, the sheeple will believe you. And if they don't, well you write an Executive Order and force Congress to do it Your Way. What do you think? Will Hollywood Play Ball? Will Congress? Are We The People blind, deaf, dumb? Are more of us people or sheeple? What matters more the truth or the narrative? Do people believe it if the media says it? How long before the 2nd Amendment is a thing of the past? How long before the 1st falls behind it?

  5. People kill people. Well said. We are active NRA members, hunt, and are ready to protect ourselves should the zombies attack. The 2nd amendment is there for good reason and needs to stay. And yes, stock up on the ammo because pretty soon we won't be able to buy it.
Conservative and pro-arming citizens and not afraid to say it.
