Six Strings With...Imran Ahmad

I had the pleasure of talking with this great composer "Imran Ahmad", well he just released his score "THE DEAD" on our record label "HOWLIN' WOLF RECORDS"... so please [CLICK HERE] and read it. Also look at the updated "GIVEAWAYS" you can get a chance to win an autograph Cd of The Dead and a few other of our releases.

I am still trying to catch that train this month and this month is like half over all ready... how do you all manage to keep up with the stress. I have been trying to make lists of things to do from day to day, but the list never finishes itself. I just cleared my scores/ film reviews stuff for the other site and Saturday in the mail I got 10 more films, 8 cd [awesome label] and 3 digital scores.

I think what I need to do is find people I trust to join this site or the other ones to help my focus on the design aspect, cause my fear is I just cannot keep up. I thought I could handle the three, remember when I ran eight sites... how the hell did I pull that off?  My brother said to me, you never know what is successful until you feel successful. I feel that here and the other two sites, but I also feel that they have become too much of a "Sell, Sell, Sell" site. It is not always my intention to push my ideas or make you feel you have to buy something while you are here.

I am sad too because I don't visit some of my favorite places, comment to my friends [that really helped me where I am, today] or just read their posts. I am going on  forth year soon and I finally fell these sites are a good representation of who I am from the things I love to the crazy stuff in my head. Sorry for the long post, I just felt the need to vent and remind you all... thank you!

  1. Know when to say when! That's why I now have co-hosts for the IWSG - it was just more than I could handle, especially while working on my third book.
What you've done with these sites is amazing, Jeremy. You've come a long way, little zombie!

  2. the key is in the good organization and in doing what you really love. If the work tires you and makes you wild, it's not the right type of work for you and you need to change it.
It's better working on followers, readers, commentators than on many different sites. Better have one super visited than five with low amount of readers.

  3. Jeremy that sounds like a hugs bag of swag! Running more than one site is hard, but it helps if you have a passion for the topic, which you obviously do.

[Retro] Love the Comments, not so much the Spam... so I have enough man-pills, fake gold watches and link-back options that I need. Thank you!

No More Anonymous Monkeys to much of the above mentioned, sorry sometimes I get some nice things.
