-Jeremy [Retro-Zombie]
He must pull out his own eyes, and see no creature, before he can say, he sees no God; He must be no man, and quench his reasonable soul, before he can say to himself, there is no God.
-John Donne
Hawkeye from Avengers! Why? Because the avengers are awesomely amazing and Hawkeye is one of the coolest! (I mean seriously! He uses a bow and arrow! You don't see that anymore. . are at least very rarely!)

Hawkeye from MASH because I grew up with him and love his humour.
ReplyDeleteWagging Tales
I too love MASH but you can't win this fight with just snark.
ReplyDeleteHawkeye [Avengers] (25 days, 2 hours)
When I first saw The Hurt Locker, I thought a friend of mine had started acting, because Jeremy Renner looks exactly like this guy I know. Anyway, I guess I'll go with Avengers Hawkeye, because he has weapons.
ReplyDeleteI grew up with M.A.S.H so going with that Hawkeye.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go with the Avengers' Hawkeye. I'm not all too familiar with M.A.S.H.
ReplyDeleteHi...I'm hopping over from the A to Z challenge. Lovely post...good luck with the challenge. And it would be Hawkeye from Mash...hands down!

MASH was way before my time so I'm gonna have to go with the Avengers Hawkeye.
ReplyDeleteI go with the MASH Hawkeye. I grew up with him and you have to admit he was very smooth under pressure.

Avengers Hawkeye!
ReplyDeleteAvengers. Definitely Avengers.
ReplyDeleteAvengers all the way! Hawkeye!
ReplyDeleteBig fan of M.A.S.H. and he is a surgeon, after all.
ReplyDeleteHawkeye from the avengers would pierce Hawkeye from M*A*S*H's skin with any # of specialty arrows before the fie surgeon could suture himself. However, Clint Barton would not shooot an unarmen man and B.F. pierce will not carry a gun. So it would have to be a war of words and it would be a good one. When they think they are right (which is most of the time) they will stand up to generals and hulks. If pressed, I would go with the archer.
ReplyDeleteTough choice. I grew up watching M*A*S*H, but also reading comic books. I could trust both to save my life -- depending on what endangered it.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with the surgeon, I think. Hawkeye Pierce.
Erin
ooh! This is tough but I think most definitely it will be Hawkeye from MASH - I just loved that show.
ReplyDeleteI vote Hawkeye Pierce!
ReplyDeleteI love Mr. Pierce - but I'm giving it to Mr. Barton. Pierce's pacifist attitude and shot range scalpels would epic fail up against any arrow in Hawkeye's quiver!
ReplyDeleteTough choice. I love me some Mash. Truth is, Hawkeye from Avengers would totally win, but my heart is with Hawkeye Pierce.
ReplyDeleteHawkeye Pierce, definitely. He seemed to be so shallow, but actually had a very loving and passionate heart.
ReplyDeleteHawkeye from M.A.S.H. would win because he always wins against all opponents except his greatest nemesis: death. That was the interesting thing about that show, it was a comedy set in tragic circumstances.
ReplyDeleteMASH'S Hawkeye all the way. Watched every episode!

Toughest match-up yet! I'm going to have to go with Benjamin Franklin Pierce.
ReplyDeleteNo contest. Alan Alda all the way :D
ReplyDeleteLiz
Yup. Alan Alda. I actually dated a guy who did the MASH unit thing in Iraq (he was the equivalent of Henry Blake). I think Alan and the gang made it seem like a lot more fun. PS - The ex-hubs first and last name is "Benjamin Franklin". Maybe it's a sign...
