Urban Scumbags vs. Countryside Zombies (USCZ) was originally shot in 1991 in the residential district of Zehlendorf in Berlin. With a budget of only 2,000 deutschmarks, the cast and crew spent every weekend that year either on set or in post production.With the 20th anniversary of the underground classic approaching, we plan a remake of the film using modern technology and professional actors. Shooting is scheduled to begin in 2009. The new script is being written by Heather DeLisle, with additional input from Scumbags creator Sebastian Panneck and Maxim Matthew.
