You are in grave danger and could die anywhere - what a heck of a scare tactic.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that they used a woman to illustrate the heart disease poster. Also who can take anything seriously when it's called the Davidson Health Nipple? ;)

I wonder what practices they did at that sanatorium though?
ReplyDeleteFortunately, I'm not old enough to remember these, but old enough to appreciate them in your post.
ReplyDeleteLaughing at your title here. ☺ Last year, I had a similar one: U is for Undecided. It's fascinating to see these old ads. That sanatorium looks positively gothic! Nice sales pitch: "You may die any minute - anywhere".
ReplyDeleteI am older Jeremy but don't recall the picutres here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteWell presented post.
Yvonne.
It's amazing we all lived!

Advertising is so strange sometimes even in modern times, much less a hundred years ago!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that grave danger ad is no longer around. It is scary.
ReplyDeleteThat first one is wtf!
