Kicking It Old School... Part II

Joshua: Shall we play a game?
David Lightman: Oh!
Jennifer: [giggles] I think it missed him.
David Lightman: Yeah. Weird isn't it?
Jennifer: Yeah.
David Lightman: [typing] Love to. How about Global Thermonuclear War?
Joshua: Wouldn't you prefer a nice game of chess?
[Jennifer laughs]
David Lightman: [typing] Later. Let's play Global Thermonuclear War.
Joshua: Fine.

What is your favorite video game of an old school nature? I always enjoyed the game "Berserk" or Pitfall Harry and I think cause I was good, not great at them. Have you had a chance to click over to my "Neatorama Store" yet, I am pushy I know... but things are great over there... it's like a new car smell waiting to be inhaled.

  1. Pitfall was fun. Think mine was Pac-Man.
Your quote today - "This one goes to eleven."

  2. I think that depends on which console, era we're talking about here.

I loved Frogger back on the old Commodore 64. On the Atari, it was Pitfall. Sega Genesis was Landstalker or Shadowrun or Shining Force.

  3. Wow. We must have owned the same magazines! That Reactor ad was so wild it's burned into my brain. Another great flashback Jeremy.

[Retro] Love the Comments, not so much the Spam... so I have enough man-pills, fake gold watches and link-back options that I need. Thank you!

No More Anonymous Monkeys to much of the above mentioned, sorry sometimes I get some nice things.
