  2. I think the one the hit me the hardest was one that we lost just yesterday: Edward Hermann. Normally I just have a "that's sad" moment when a celebrity passes. With Edward Hermann, maybe I was overly tired, maybe it was my love for The Gilmore Girls, but I'll admit I actually cried over the news.

  3. I echo David's thoughts here, as well as Heather's - a stunning (for different reasons) list. So many gone without our knowing - or at least, mine.

A brilliant tribute, Jeremy. Sobering and touching, a stiff reminder to us all that we really do need to appreciate each day with those we have around us, be they friends, family, loved ones, human and animal. Life is really too short and too precious to take for granted.

So, to those who have passed before us, may we never forget, and in their honour hold them dear in our hearts and minds and live life as they would want us to. Here's wishing you folks, and those you love, a very, very healthy, happy and fulfilling year ahead for 2015.

  7. So many who touched our hearts gone to seek where rainbows travel. James Garner and Lauren Bacall once dated in the 80's. David Brenner was such a good soul. Many of them were.

Seeing that list reminds us to be kind to one another for we do not know when their path will diverge from ours. Happy 2015, Jeremy!

  8. Some of these I knew about; others were a shock. I have to say, for many it was like seeing obituary notices of friends. They had been in my home on the TV or I'd become so accustomed to seeing them on the screen or in news, I felt I knew them. Your list reminds me how important it is to appreciate and enjoy our moments here.
