Howlin' Wolf Records: "THE WITCHING SEASON" and "THEY LIVE INSIDE US"
"THE WITCHING SEASON" Music by
Randin Graves and Slasher Dave. American horror anthology series created
by Michael Ballif, written and directed by Ballif and James Morris, and
produced by Morris, Allen Bradford, Jordan Swenson, and Parker
Marcroft. The series consists of five interlocking segments that revolve
around the Halloween season. Each episode, fueled by nostalgia, pays
tribute to a different genre of horror. The score for The Witching
Season is composed by Randin Graves and Slasher Dave.

LIVE INSIDE US" Music by Randin Graves. American independent horror
film adaptation of episode #4 of The Witching Season anthology series.
The feature film is directed by Michael Ballif and produced by Ballif,
James Morris, Allen Bradford, and Jordan Swenson. A father and daughter
spend Halloween night in the notoriously haunted Booth House with the
father hoping to find inspiration for a new writing project, only to
discover hidden secrets more sinister than either could imagine. The
score for They Live Inside Us is composed by award-winning composer and
multi-instrumentalist Randin Graves.

Stuck in the middle with you. Well Ma'am, JUST THE FACTS!
Dragnet is a 1987 American buddy cop comedy film, directed and co-written by Tom Mankiewicz in his directorial debut. Starring Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks, the film is based on the radio and television crime drama of the same name. The screenplay, both a parody of and homage to the long-running television series, was written by Aykroyd, Mankiewicz, and Alan Zweibel. The original music score is by Ira Newborn. Aykroyd plays Joe Friday (nephew of the original series protagonist) while Hanks plays Pep Streebek, his new partner. Harry Morgan reprises his role from the television series as Bill Gannon, now a captain and Friday and Streebek's boss.
I am not stuck in the past, just sometimes it's nice to visit and it reminds me of the things I really liked. I am still riding the dark carriage of life at the moment, the road is long and I cannot see out the windows. How you been? Hopefully life has given you all roses, unless you don't like roses... I give you my late friend Tina favorites... sunflowers. I miss doing this everyday, miss you guys and this little sounding board blog. As I still prep for my glorious return, I do hope to post all of October again... we will see.

Howlin' Wolf Records proudly
presents a 2-CD set with music composed and performed by accomplished
Director and Composer Jamie Blanks - STORM WARNING (2007) and CRAWLSPACE
(2012) - Both scores won "Best Musical Score" at Screamfest the only
two years Blanks entered scores for competition at the festival.
Renowned and award-winning for both directing and composing, Jamie
Blanks is best known as the director of both URBAN LEGEND (1998) and
VALENTINE (2001), and the director, composer, and editor of both STORM
WARNING (2007) and LONG WEEKEND (2008). STORM WARNING and LONG WEEKEND
were both written by legendary screenwriter Everett DeRoche, who Blanks
kept as a treasured friend up until DeRoche's death. CRAWLSPACE (2012)
is the directorial debut of Justin Dix, Blanks' practical effects and
make-up wizard for both STORM WARNING and LONG WEEKEND. Like Blanks with
his two wins for "Best Musical Score," Dix won "Best Makeup and
Effects" at Screamfest in 2007 and 2012.

author Mike Thorn, detailed notes on both scores by Jamie Blanks, and an
epilogue by author Adrian Roe, STORM WARNING/CRAWLSPACE features
