Watching... Star Trek VI: Undiscovered Country on the television the other day, I got a little choked up because I think it was the last screen time that the original cast was going to be together. I am sad that time gets the best of us and we can lose people who love or like a whole heck of a lot. So one of the last few lines of dialogue from Leonard Nimoy as Spock...
Live, Life and Prosper... I know it's my spin on it.

You're right, it was the last time all of them were together.
ReplyDeleteThank God V wasn't the last time.
Loved watching the video, Great post Jeremy
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
I have the movie poster of the 1st Star Trek signed by cast & director. It faces my bed on the wall. The illusion of family the first Star Trek series and films gave us was just as important as the space drama I think. Great post. :-)
ReplyDeleteI never thought about that one before since the actors began dying off around that time. It's fitting that it's one of the best in the series.
ReplyDeleteYou do prefer it this way, captain warrior to warrior:) - Your making me all nostalgic now.
ReplyDeleteThey were so good together in that one. Old but still more clever than their enemies. Those uniforms are so much cooler than the originals.
ReplyDeleteYes we have liked that style of uniform since "Wrath of Khan"...
ReplyDeleteThey did make for a (close) , very Family-like "Unit"... each adding to the whole...
I certainly miss the group. Pity we all get older.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad. They were a great team.
