My Finger Puppets... don't like me either?

In the late 1980s, Robert "Fish" Fishman (Rainn Wilson) is the drummer in Vesuvius, a fictional heavy metal/glam metal band from Cleveland, Ohio on the verge of making it big. The band is offered a recording contract with one condition - Fish must be replaced as drummer with the president of the record company's nephew. After initially refusing, the band caves when their manager tells them they would get to tour as the opening act for Whitesnake.

20 years later, Vesuvius remains an immensely successful band, while Fish is working a mundane office job, which he is fired from for attacking a co-worker who tried to force him to listen to Vesuvius' new album. After being kicked out by his girlfriend, he is taken in by his sister Lisa (Jane Lynch) and her family. Matt (Josh Gad), Fish's high school-aged nephew, plays keyboards in an alternative rock band called A.D.D., along with his friends Curtis (Teddy Geiger) and Amelia (Emma Stone). The band is scheduled to play their school's prom but the gig is in jeopardy when their drummer is suspended from school. Matt convinces the others to allow Fish to fill in, but he ruins the gig when he launches into an impromptu drum solo. However, Fish is so excited by Curtis' songs and the chance to play again, he convinces them to let him join the band if he can deliver another gig. After repeated failed attempts, he finally succeeds in securing a gig at a club in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Because the other members are all minors, they have to sneak out to the gig, taking Lisa's car without permission, resulting in the band being arrested.

Kill the MOOSE, yes I don't know what the hell I am talking about either!

"Boris the Spider" is a song written by The Who's bass guitarist, John Entwistle. It appears as the second track of their 1966 album A Quick One. This song is claimed to be Entwistle's first composition, and became a staple of live shows. This song, along with "My Wife", "Heaven and Hell" and "The Quiet One", were Entwistle's biggest songs to perform live. "The Quiet One" was written to replace this song and "My Wife", which Entwistle had become quite tired of singing. Though this song was popular, it was not released as a single in the USA and the UK. In Japan, "Boris the Spider" was released as the B-side to "Whiskey Man" in 1967.

"Boris the Spider" was written after Entwistle had been out drinking with The Rolling Stones' bass guitarist, Bill Wyman. They were making up funny names for animals when Entwistle came up with "Boris the Spider". The song was written by Entwistle in six minutes and is considered a horror song.

The chorus of "Boris the Spider" was sung in basso profundo by Entwistle (which possibly helped give birth to the "death growl"), with a middle eight of "creepy crawly" sung in falsetto. These discordant passages and the black comedy of the theme made the song a stage favourite, and the only song from the album to be played throughout The Who's live career.

Well, I am Very Sorry... welcome in SIX STRINGS!

Those who have been around, I thank you all... sorry for the time away I have had to get my life stuff in order. You all may or not heard I have been sick since the start of the new year and the short of it was... a cold turned into the flu, then into pneumonia, hospital stay, then a case of bronchitis and when I was feeling better my grandmother died. So far it's been F'2016!

http://www.jmhdigital.com/
Missing work, posts and my grandmother... I still managed to make a few posts, work and make a magazine called "SIX STRINGS". It's a conversion to the site I had been running for 8 years, which for me turned into "blah" site of "buy me stuff"... things got lost. The original idea was to promote the soundtrack label "HOWLIN' WOLF RECORDS" I have been doing promotions, we do music for films that we find worthy of releasing.

Well I condensed to be in a digital magazine form for most "Ipad/book readers/e.t.c. and it's free for the download... it's got some very cool stuff. I hope you might check it out, maybe share it... review it and well the most important enjoy it.

So where do we go from here, I am not sure... so much going on it's been hard to keep up, well I have been on Facebook and some great friends here have contacted me... they know who they are... you all rock.

I am still playing catch up, working on the next issue, working with "BLOGGING A TO Z", working 6 days a week and here my site... hopefully you all have been well and life has been normal... but what is normal really?

Happy February 1st, 2016... Here Kitty, Kitty... it's NO JOKE!

----------------------------------------------------
The Roman month Februarius was named after the Latin term februum, which means purification, via the purification ritual Februa held on February 15 (full moon) in the old lunar Roman calendar. January and February were the last two months to be added to the Roman calendar, since the Romans originally considered winter a monthless period. They were added by Numa Pompilius about 713 BC. February remained the last month of the calendar year until the time of the decemvirs (c. 450 BC), when it became the second month. At certain intervals February was truncated to 23 or 24 days, and a 27-day intercalary month, Intercalaris, was inserted immediately after February to realign the year with the seasons.
