Damn You, Banana Hands... Jeremy Hawkins

So I was messing with the coding in BLOGGER and I somehow messed up a line of coding... loosing the ability to see some of the site. I was talking with some experts on how to improve my overall attention on this site, more people... more numbers. Yeah, if you don't know the code... don't pretend I am learning stuff to not do. So more subtle changes, I am more than happy to share what I learn... only after I see if it actually is working. Having my stand-by post ready is my safety net and I had to pull her string... Chute Deployed!

S.H.I.E.L.D. vs K.I.T.T.

S.H.I.E.L.D. is a fictional espionage and law-enforcement agency in the Marvel Comics Universe. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in Strange Tales #135 (Aug. 1965), it often deals with superhuman threats. The acronym originally stood for Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage, Law-Enforcement Division. It was changed in 1991 to Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate. Within the various films set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as in the animated series The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the acronym stands for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.

KITT is the short name of two fictional characters from the adventure TV series Knight Rider. While having the same acronym, the KITTs are two different entities: one known as the Knight Industries Two Thousand, which appeared in the original TV series Knight Rider, and the other as the Knight Industries Three Thousand, which appeared first in the two-hour 2008 pilot film for a new Knight Rider TV series and then the new series itself. In both instances, KITT is an artificially intelligent electronic computer module installed in a highly advanced, very mobile, robotic automobile: the original KITT as a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am, and the second KITT as a 2008-2009 Ford Shelby GT500KR.

Both are spin-offs of wildly successful movies either from the big screen or little one... One tanked faster than being hit by one arrow and the other has a billion dollar backing from a director who is either the luckiest guy in the world or a damn good director [or both]. So do you think that Hollywood learned it's lesson on what makes a good television or will this flap in the wind?

R.I.P.D. vs. B.P.R.D.

R.I.P.D. is a 2013 American supernatural film directed by Robert Schwentke, based on the comic book Rest in Peace Department by Peter M. Lenkov and published by Dark Horse Entertainment. The film stars Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges as Nick Walker and Roy Pulsipher, respectively.

Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (the B.P.R.D. or BPRD) is a fictional organization in the comic book work of Mike Mignola, charged with protecting America and the world from the occult, paranormal and supernatural. It maintains the services of several supernatural persons, including Hellboy. The B.P.R.D. originally appeared in the Hellboy comics but has also been featured in many stories under the B.P.R.D. title.

So both are from the Dark Horse Comics... to me at first I thought they were the same thing. So who would you rather... protect you in times of trouble? Or it's just a poor man's "MIB"?

SHARKNADO... Grabbing Your Attention!

Super Hero Friends acknowledgement was given to me by my wonderful friend/sister Tina @ Life is Good, something given to make "good people" shine a little bit. I was happy to have receiving this, cause I needed a little pick me up as I juggle the world and the Sun. I have to pass this along to someone and here are the rules are simple: tell why your friend is super, then reveal one secret about yourself.

I give this to my newest friend that I got the pleasure to meet during the "A to Z Challenge"... Tracy @ Pull Up A Toadstool. She has been like many of us kicked down and refuses to give up, but she has a stronger will to be a survivor... earning my respect. Simply it's great to know her and she is just super!

Now my secret, something that you don't know... when I was 15 years old... Four of us went to the filming of "LUCAS" staring Corey Haim in like 1985... wait do you want to hear how we disrupted the film then got thrown off the set or how we were doing neutral drops blowing the engine out of my father's car [same day]. See these is the kind of stories I can tell, some of them are going to be coming down the road for my "IT'S TIME" Blog Tour... and yes, thanks for reminding me... I mentioned the dates never posted them....

Thank you Tina for this... and all the nice comments, it makes what we all do worth it!!

Howlin' Wolf Records: Releases Two Scores and One Soundtrack!

So I am not sure you all know that I work on a independent score/soundtrack label called "Howlin' Wolf Records" as their promotional person and run the "On-line Magazine". This month we are releasing three soundtracks to films you may have heard of and if not well I am sharing it right now.

-COOL AIR / INVASION
Music by Tony Riparetti

INVASION, originally titled INFECTION, was released in 2005 and features a mesmerizing synth score. COOL AIR based on an HP Lovecraft short story features an award-winning score ...winning "Best Film Score" at the PollyGrind Underground Film Festival.

-DARK SOULS
Music by Wojciech Golczewski

Directed by César Ducasse and Mathieu Péteul, DARK SOULS is a French-Norwegian thriller which begins with a young woman who is attacked in the woods. Just as her father receives a call from the police asking him to identify her body, he sees her walking through the front door... As he is forced to take matters into his own hands, he begins to uncover signs of a larger industrial conspiracy whilst caring for his daughter, amidst an undead outbreak.

-ROAD TO HELL
Music by Tony Riparetti, Jim Steinman, Roxy Gunn, Jim Saad, Steve Le Gassick, Nick Barnett

A soldier who has been fighting a long war is driven mad because he no longer believes in any purpose or righteous truth behind the killing. He comes home to a surreal world looking for his first and only love from his youth, believing she will rescue him from his demons. On the road to Edge City he encounters two seductive spree killers who oppose his efforts to find his love and the redemption he desperately seeks.

The first two "Cool Air/Invasion" and "Dark Souls" are on CD format and the third "Road to Hell" is available in digital format "HERE" and "HERE"... soon to be on Limited Cd soon from our label. So yes... I am doing my job and sharing all the good stuff that I can, I am sure I will be adding more like "Road to Hell" is the sort of sequel to 1985's "Streets of Fire" and many of the songs featured were redone by "Roxy Gunn"...

"It's Time" Tour Dates

So this my fear I have such great friends with great sites and there is me sitting in the middle hearing the voices in my head. Telling me maybe I have taken on too much? Maybe I have, but maybe not? So I wanted to share some of the "Tour" dates with you and let you know my plans. As I have opportunity to host/guest on one of these sites, I won't be here... just there for the day and I will have a post here stating that I am there. So that might have made you buggy/daft, I really want to be able to step up to the plate and share me with you and maybe make some new friends along the way.

The other thing is for the next few months I will be sporadic on my posts here, I have some other projects I am working on "Howlin Wolf Records" is releasing "Three" scores this month and as their promotions person I am thrilled to promote.

On top of all that I have to let you know about my t-shirts store, not that I haven't ever let you forget. I will be sharing up some new designs that I hope will appeal to the masses, since I am one of like a million plus people who have great talent.

And the video below is my puppy in the pink hanging out with her cousins, so I recap... book tour, score releases, t-shirts, interviews, conventions, job hunting, sleeping and I think that is enough. Prepare yourselves for the next few weeks of madness, it's going to be interesting... and now on with the show...

Anime Midwest: PHOTOS Part I

So I am sharing the first round of photos from the "Anime Midwest" convention, I am starting to learn more characters and new found respect for those people who share their world with me. I think everyone did a great job and the theme was a lot of "Steam Punk".

And the Oscar Goes To: GHOSTBUSTERS II

Just a little update to make some of feel really old, but the child Oscar played by baby twins "Will and Henry Deutschendorf" are now adults. Both of them never returned to acting, but are successful instructors at "West Coast Martial Arts Academy". They are currently involved in a "Remember the Ghostbusters" project, that well you get it from the title.

Here is a little information about and a current photo, I hope they don't mind I am sharing these... I am happy for their current success. I encourage you all to see that acting doesn't mean you have to be an actor, though they were babies at the time.

---------------------------------
Will and Hank Deutschendorf have two other claims to fame. They starred as baby Oscar in the movie Ghost Busters 2 where they were lucky enough to enjoy screen time with stars such as Sigourney Weaver and Bill Murray. They're uncle was also the late John Denver, the country singer famous for songs like Take Me Home, Country Roads and Rocky Mountain High.

Sorry for the Ghostbusters' themed post again... I found this interesting!
