HULK... SMASH! and Meet The Cast/Crew of The Collection!

Last day of the month and I don't think I tried to sell you anything... but I do have a "HULK" shirt that is available. Maybe a nice Christmas gift for someone.... It's sort of got a festive feel to it.

Left to Right: Emma Fitzpatrick [Actor], Josh Stewart [Actor],
'The Collector', Marcus Dunstan [Director/Writer] and Patrick Melton [Writer]

And this weekend starts the sequel to "The Collector" called "The Collection" we had the great opportunity to go behind stage at the "DAYS OF THE DEAD" and meet the cast/crew after their awesome panel. You might know a few of them, my wife and mother swooned over Josh Stewart from his work in "Criminal Minds", so I made sure to meet him... It was another great experience for us at this show, but I want you to go see this movie. The first film was well-worth it, the second looks twice as fun.

So to everyone, have a great weekend... OH, OH, OH... wait a second I forgot to mention I am being nominated for favorite "OTHER" blog along with a few friends including Alex J. Cavanaugh... at "A PEEK AT KAREN'S WORLD"... thank you for the honor and if you all can [CLICK HERE] and vote.

Iron Man III - Trailer [1980's Style]

----------------------------
----------------------------
Out of the whole Marvel Universe and it's film release I am the most excited for the Iron Man Franchise... so in honor of that I give you my silly little trailer...

Yeah I know I am a dork, but if you share this with other dorks... I become King and I say "Hail to the King"!! So if you like it, please share it... if not tell me you love it and I will believe you.

Short story about William Katt aka Greatest American Hero... he was signing autographs and this man and his daughter wanted to take a photo with him [together]. I offered to take the photo as I stood in line waiting for my turn to meet Mr. Katt, it all went down without any trouble... Mr. Katt came back around and one hand on my shoulder and a strong handshake... thanking me for helping him out. He was one cool person, I thank him for not being just a celebrity zombie.

Bubbles and The Fat Head!

What do you know, what are you hearing?
Answer: I know nothing, I hear voices... and they sound like this...

2-XL was an educational toy in the shape of a robot that was introduced in 1978. 2-XL was the brainchild of Dr. Michael J. Freeman, who felt that toys should be both fun and educational. The toy was interactive, playing various tracks from a magnetic audio tape depending on the user's actions.

The toy was released in two different time periods. The 1978 release was produced by a toy company called Mego Corporation, and used 8-track tapes. It was brought back in 1992 by Tiger Electronics in a version that used cassette tapes rather than 8-Track.

The toy had two yellow light bulbs for eyes that flashed at various moments while the 8-track program tapes played, and he had four red push buttons on his stomach:
  • "Question"
  • "A or Yes Or True"
  • "B or More Info"
  • "C or No or False"
Help... the laughter is ringing... in my head.

Don't Get Me Wet, Hot is Okay... but Wet No Way...

Ahhhh... Ahhhh!
So the world of freelance is here and I am finding myself buried in it, this is a good thing. It looks like I am working on the interviews with some of the people I have met, so stories are coming... I just want to incorporate them together... Not that it's a big story or that my encounters with anyone are interesting for you to wait, so go on your journeys and they will come.

Can I ask you all do me a favor can you click over here, wait let me tell you why first... there might be a "redirecting bug" that takes you to another place force-ably... I don't see it. This means my computer protection is working well, so I don't get this bug... It's the "HBA" where the horror blogs come together. It might be the browser, but I need to find it... or shut it down... maybe someone might know how to turn it off? If you are not required to do this, I have been getting many emails from members stating this is happening.

Last thing I have a couple cd/blu-rays giveaways on the Howlin' Wolf... only a few folks are entered... free stuff people... things to look out for... the word "giveaways"... So the post sounds dirty, didn't it... but it is all part of my plan to bring you here... muhaha!

As I think to myself today... Cyber Monday where are all the deals, what am I going to buy? Over the weekend I went to another ANIME Convention called "Kollision Con" on Saturday, which was very cool... I and my photographer Steve learned some valuable lessons and met some very cool/interesting folks.

All I can say... is more to come, how was your holiday... how did you spend it? I had seen the film "Life Of Pi"... I had not read the book, but I loved the film. Oh... yes I talked with "UZUHI" below...Japanese Pop Punk Rock band...

So two weekends... two conventions... lots of stories. Where the HECK do I begin?

Shane... Shane... Shane! [FREAKY FRIDAY]

Who misses Shane from the WALKING DEAD?
[special request from ZOMBIE walk day Oct 19th]

I find that we cannot be confused with calling them ZOMBIES, when in fact they are WALKING DEAD... to me there is a difference between the both styles. What are your thoughts, is there different variations of people who come back from the dead?

So everyone have a great weekend as I find myself heading into the "DAYS OF THE DEAD" hopefully will have some great war stories, if not I will make something up. What are you doing this weekend, going anywhere fun?

Listen, I am too Rock n' Roll for this!

Today's post was a great post, but alas it was suppose to be on the Howlin' Wolf site... So in return for that here is a quick post about nothing.

In honor of the couple of response to the day I give you; Mystery Science Theater 3000: THIS ISLAND EARTH!

This Island Earth is a 1955 American science fiction film directed by Joseph M. Newman. It is based on the novel of the same name by Raymond F. Jones. The film stars Jeff Morrow as the alien Exeter, Faith Domergue as Dr. Ruth Adams, and Rex Reason as Dr. Cal Meacham. The film was one of the first major science fiction films to be made in Technicolor. In 1996, This Island Earth was edited down and lampooned in the film Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie.

And the last thing is for alex....

Six Strings With...Imran Ahmad

I had the pleasure of talking with this great composer "Imran Ahmad", well he just released his score "THE DEAD" on our record label "HOWLIN' WOLF RECORDS"... so please [CLICK HERE] and read it. Also look at the updated "GIVEAWAYS" you can get a chance to win an autograph Cd of The Dead and a few other of our releases.

I am still trying to catch that train this month and this month is like half over all ready... how do you all manage to keep up with the stress. I have been trying to make lists of things to do from day to day, but the list never finishes itself. I just cleared my scores/ film reviews stuff for the other site and Saturday in the mail I got 10 more films, 8 cd [awesome label] and 3 digital scores.

I think what I need to do is find people I trust to join this site or the other ones to help my focus on the design aspect, cause my fear is I just cannot keep up. I thought I could handle the three, remember when I ran eight sites... how the hell did I pull that off?  My brother said to me, you never know what is successful until you feel successful. I feel that here and the other two sites, but I also feel that they have become too much of a "Sell, Sell, Sell" site. It is not always my intention to push my ideas or make you feel you have to buy something while you are here.

I am sad too because I don't visit some of my favorite places, comment to my friends [that really helped me where I am, today] or just read their posts. I am going on  forth year soon and I finally fell these sites are a good representation of who I am from the things I love to the crazy stuff in my head. Sorry for the long post, I just felt the need to vent and remind you all... thank you!

Anyone want to join the RETRO-ZOMBIE, HBA or HWR: OLM?

Captain America... Worthy?

Captain America... Maybe?

Just a thought after watching "THOR" last night... Can Captain America be able to lift the Hammer of the Mighty THOR? When ODIN banishes THOR to Earth... Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of THOR!. Could that be Captain America any thoughts?

You are a fool and a old man!!

So happy Friday, hope the week has been treating you right.... I am ill again, might need to take a trip to the doctor this time. So over at the "HOWLIN' WOLF" is some fun giveaways and more coming, I feel behind in my reviews and post last month. It is catch up time over there... lots of posts in little days, enjoy.

Crying Bear: Yes, Bears Cry Sometimes, Too!

This is not one of my normal post here, this is a good thing... cause that means I am still growing and there is not always the need to shock you with my post. I was introduced to this book "Crying Bear: Yes, Bears Cry Sometimes, Too!" by my new friend and author Virginia Wright [BLOG] as we began to talk I was able to get her book. It's a wonderful little challenge learning book about... it's just okay. Description: Join this very adventurous little bear cub, as she wanders too far from the den in the snow covered mountains of Maine.

About the Author: VIRGINIA WRIGHT is author and illustrator of the children's book-- Crying Bear, The Princess and the Castle, The Prince and the Dragon, and a non-fiction book titled Buzzzzzzzz What Honeybees Do. The Christmas Secret is targeted for release fall 2012. Virginia says she has found her love of words in children's writing; and spends her time writing from the Downeast area in the beautiful state of Maine. Wright says being a preschool teacher for a number of years at a private Christian Preschool and Kindergarten in Mississippi was definitely an inspiration for writing children's books, but the true inspiration for "Crying Bear" comes from her five grandchildren. Virginia Wright first became a published author in 1981 when she sold her first writing to a regional magazine in the state of Maine. She also had several of her writings published in an Anthology-- Soundings, by the Poetry Fellowship of Maine. She was quoted as saying, "When I am not spending time with my husband, watering my organic vegetable and herb gardens, canning, cooking, or feeding the chickens; I spend my time doing what I enjoy doing most, writing..."

I think it is a fantastic tale and I am happy to bring it to you... so did I shock you that I actually might be more normal than you once thought... give me an aweeee!
